![]() I do what I can locally by encrypting all of the devices that I use uniquely and do not mind the performance impact. This is the only way to ensure privacy and retain freedom and independence on the internet. I wish that all of my information were uniquely encrypted end to end on the internet and I wish that all self describing data streams transmitted and stored across the internet were wrapped in uniquely encrypted formulas with dual keys so that each and every network message and piece of information I generate locally and across the internet stored on servers were uniquely encrypted. The reason I ask is because the email service says that they have servers that uniquely and automatically encrypt each customers email and that the people who work to support their email service do not have the keys or encryption methods to access or hack or look at or pry into my private emails. If LastPass encrypts my information, does it do so in an automated way and does it do so in a unique way such that my information is automatically and uniquely encrypted in a different way from any other LastPass customer? If LastPass stores any of my information on a server, is my information encrypted? Is there something wrong with my plugin or has there been some sort of design change?ĭoes LastPass store my passwords locally or on a server? My work around is to log into the web page and then to find the Generate Passwords and other options when I need them. The LastPass plugin on my Firefox browser used to open a login window and after logging in, it would display a drop down window with My Vault and other things like Generate Passwords that I used to use. ![]()
